We stopped in here for dinner about an hour before they closed - you wouldn't have know that because they were not rushing anyone. We were able to get seats at the sushi bar as the rest of the restaurant was filled. It was a cool experience to watch our sushi be prepared. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots! The fish is always incredibly fresh, the quality is consistently outstanding, and every meal I've had here has been amazing. It can get a little loud on weekends, but that's a small tradeoff for such phenomenal food. Absolutely worth it every time!

Have been coming here for years, have always had the best experience. High quality ingredients, friendly service, great atmosphere although it can get loud at times. Our most recent experience on April 17th, we had a 6:30pm reservation, we arrived lets say 6:31/6:33 the latest. We were told that our table was not yet available and to wait on the couch near the bar area. We waited at most 5 minutes. Immediately within sitting down when our table was ready, we were given a complimentary appetizer (Pepper crusted tuna sushi appetizier) which was so thoughtful and delicious. Our server Abdul was incredible, gave us great recommendations on menu options we had not yet tried. Definitely great taste! All his recommendations were delicious especially the red curry mussels. For dinner we shared the specialty roll of the evening which was toro tuna/cucumber/crunch/mint inside with tuna and truffle soy on top, it was incredible! It was โ€œthe best roll iโ€™ve ever hadโ€ according to my s/o! To top off the amazing service, recommendations, and comforting atmosphere, our server Abdul, presented us with a complimentary dessert to make the night extra special!

Tucked along Route 37 in Toms River, Xina Restaurant is one of those places that locals tend to keep in regular rotationโ€”and for good reason. While the exterior is modest and the interior leans more casual than trendy, what comes out of the kitchen is anything but ordinary. This is where Asian fusion is done thoughtfully, with a clear sense of balance and creativity that elevates it far beyond your typical neighborhood spot. From the moment youโ€™re seated, thereโ€™s an easy, welcoming energy. The dining room hums with a steady crowdโ€”couples, families, and groups who clearly know what theyโ€™re here for. Itโ€™s BYOB, which adds to the relaxed feel, and the service is attentive without being intrusive. You wonโ€™t feel rushed, but you also wonโ€™t be waiting long for the next dish to arrive. The menu is where things get interesting. Yes, thereโ€™s sushiโ€”but not the predictable kind. Xina leans into inventive rolls that actually make sense, rather than piling on ingredients for the sake of novelty. Each roll feels composed, balanced, and fresh. Itโ€™s the kind of sushi that reminds you how good this category can be when itโ€™s done right. One of the standout starters is the cracklinโ€™ calamari salad

This restaurant in TR was super modern and trendy, with a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The portions are served family-style, which we loved, and the service and staff were absolutely fantastic. We started with the buffalo dumplings with ranch and California rollsโ€”both were delicious. For our entrees, we had the General Tsoโ€™s calamari and a salad that was an incredibly huge portion. We also ordered chicken and broccoli with vegetables and lo mein for our two boys. Everything we tried was phenomenal. Overall, it was an unbelievable experience. Shoutout to the entire restaurantโ€”we truly loved it. A+ and highly recommend to everyone! Definitely call ahead at least a week in advance for reservations. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿค
